Luna is a 2016 Fountaine Pajot Mahé 36, bluewater-capable, sailing catamaran. And she’s priced for a quick sale!

With her grey hulls, new composite sails, new grey canvas, and the “cat with attitude” lines of the FP Mahe, Luna is one of the coolest looking cats around! And for a production cat, she performs quite well, especially when loaded lightly. We’ve averaged 10-12 knots with 15-20 knots on the beam - and that was fully loaded with all our live-aboard gear and provisions!

We purchased Luna in Miami, in 2021, and spent the following year living aboard, while sailing up the coast to New England and outfitting her for longer-term cruising (invested about $120,000 in new equipment). Then we got pregnant with our third baby, so came home for a while. Now we’ve decided to postpone our cruising plans for a few more years, so are putting her up for sale. Luna is registered in Rhode Island, but has been in dry storage in New London, Connecticut for the last couple years (we had her there for electrical upgrades when we moved back home).

We’re pricing Luna very reasonably:

1. For a quick sale

2. She needs the port engine replaced ($15k-$20k)

3. She needs some fiberglass work on the tabbing between the floor and sole in both hulls ($10k-30k), and a few smaller repairs

4. She spent her first couple years in charter

5. She’s been in dry dock for the last couple years, so she’ll need the standard recommissioning work.
